A UVC USB capture device appears as a standard camera in vMix, OBS, Zoom, and Teams — YUAN-stated compatibility, no driver install.

03Room recording and lecture capture

Record multi-camera rooms and stream them campus-wide over RTSP, RTMP, SRT, or NDI. YUAN's published lecture-recorder pattern adds speaker tracking and live speech recognition; the SDK scope of both is pending publication.

Send audio from the client back to the room over ONVIF and RTSP — bidirectional audio for remote education and remote collaboration, published January 2024.

Capture → process → output

One appliance per room.

Room cameras and content feeds — up to four channels of HDMI or SDI at 4K60 — land in an M.2 or PCIe capture card. NexVDO Capture moves frames to the room appliance. Record keeps a multi-view session archive on the box. Stream delivers WebRTC to browsers, SIP to conferencing infrastructure, and RTSP, RTMP, SRT, or NDI for campus-wide delivery.
